So what's my story?

When I was a child I wanted to be a cartoonist and draw Grape Ape (the giant purple ape who used to sit on top of a tiny car with his friend "Beegley Beagley") (does anyone remember him?).

I was born and raised on Sydney's North Shore. When I was 20, I moved to Brisbane and studied journalism and literature at the University of Queensland in Brisbane.

My career has ranged from being a freelance journalist over the past ten years as well as working in corporate communications and media relations and website development for companies and organisations.

Some of my clients have included: World Vision, Smart Masonry, FESTURI - a multicultural celebration, Mack Trucks Australia (Head Office), AMG Magazine and Hotel Motel and Resort News as a staff writer, Scripture Union and other smaller companies as well as writing articles for: The Sydney Morning Herald, The New Internationalist, The Big Issue, The Review Independent Monthly, Timeoff Magazine, Scene Magazine (for a couple of years), Semper Floreat, Heretical, Australian Property Investor and many trade publications in the building and trucking industry.

I work from home in my business Strong Media Solutions. For the past five years I have lived in the beautiful rainforested mountain of Buderim in Queensland.
